    Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
    Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
    Durango Waterproof
Durango waterproof construction fuses a waterproof inner layer to the shoe upper providing a barrier that keeps water out. The waterproofing lines the entire boot, ensuring complete protection.
    Oil & Slip Resistant Outsole
Built with an outsole design and materials that help provide slip-resistance and traction on various surfaces.
    Durango X-Pand System
The Durango X-Pand System is a hidden gore expansion for a universal fit and easy on/off.
    Durango X-Treme Comfort Footbed
The Durango X-treme Comfort Footbed with memory foam has three times the flexibility, cushioning, and support. This lightweight and durable silhouette provides extreme comfort by forming to the shape of your foot for immediate gratification.

Durango® Maverick XP™ Steel Toe Waterproof Western Work Boot is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from I bought these waterproof boots about 6 months ago, turns out they are not waterproof at all. They are pretty comfortable for working in all day, also did hold up pretty well. I do have to crawl on diamond plate which will destroy the toes on boots, these still look good. But the insides of the boots are trashed, i can hardly take my left boot off because they are so torn up, and grab on my foot when removing. I am not bashing durango because i love them and have about 10 pairs. I hate to say it but I wont buy another pair of durangos if I have the same experience again. Do yourself a favor and choose another boots.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent boots that need a tweak I have been wearing these for 3 weeks now. First the boots themselves didn't take long to break in and are comfortable enough. However they are a pain in the butt to get on. They need a little bit more stretch or give between where the top of your foot hits and your heel as you slide them on. Second the insoles peeled apart in 2 days. Literally 2 days. I went and bought Dr scholls at Walmart and they have lasted now 1000% longer. They seem to be wearing well as far as leather and sole damage and I am not easy on footwear. I have another pair of Durango rebels that are 7 years old and look and feel great. These ones just need a time tweak to the design and different insoles or glue that holds them together.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfortable but not durable I got a pair for work because my last pair lasted so long (about 9 months) so I figured I would try the new ones with all the features. I was hopeful and the 3 months it took to get them was unbearable but I finally got them. They were tight at first but once broke in the expand system really works. They do feel lighter than my other steel toe boots and get great traction. The only problem I have had with them is the waterproofing did not last at all. I will reach out to customer services to see what they will do, and write another review.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice boot Bought the boots after talking to a customer service representative that said they would fit like my current rebel style boots. So I ordered the same size boot as I currently have and when it came I could not even get my foot in the boot. Had to send them back for a refund. Guess I'll have to find a store that I can try them on in. Loved the look and the new features of these boots just seem very narrow for a wide size boot. If I cant get a pair I'll still go with the rebels as I have had 4 pair of them and love them. For for the state highway so they get a good work out.
