ABOUT LUKE
East Coast native Luke Brown was born and raised in South Carolina where he competed in high
school rodeos, qualifying for the National Finals Rodeo twice in steer wrestling, tie-down roping
and team roping, and won six South Carolina state titles. He moved to Texas and went to college at
Howard College in Big Spring, and now resides in Lipan, Texas with his wife Lacy and daughter
Libby. A motivated competitor who believes in God’s will assisting his journey, Brown is a three-
time NFR average champ and qualified for 13-straight Super Bowls of Rodeo from 2008 to 2020.
When not training or competing in the arena, Brown enjoys fishing, reading the Bible and all types
of music. His life goal is to continue to pray for wisdom throughout all areas of his life and to be the
best team roper he can be.
