TEAM DURANGO® HEADS TO 2023 WRANGLER NATIONAL FINALS RODEO

Tie-Down Roper Riley Webb Currently Ranked First with Record-Breaking Winnings

Eighteen Team Durango® athletes will compete this year in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association® (PRCA) Wrangler National Finals Rodeo® (NFR), the richest and most prestigious rodeo in the world. Team Durango® Tie-Down Roper, Riley Webb, enters the NFR with record-breaking regular season winnings, $280,404, in a single season. “Durango® Boots is honored to serve as the official boot of the Wrangler NFR,” said Erin DeLong, Marketing Manager at Durango®. “We are proud of our elite athletes who will be competing in this prestigious event representing the best-of-the-best in each of their disciplines on behalf of Durango®.”

The 65th annual Wrangler National Finals Rodeo kicks off its 10-night run at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, NV on Thursday, December 7, with Durango®’s night on Thursday, December 14th. The competition will conclude on Saturday, December 16 when the 2023 World Champions will be crowned. The Wrangler NFR will have a record-setting payout of more than $11.5 million. This amount includes guaranteed prize money of $1.2 million for NFR qualifiers. For the third consecutive year as the official boot of the NFR, Durango® will provide each 2023 PRCA world champion a pair of custom-made boots.

Professional Tie Down Roper, Riley Webb, will enter NFR as the world leader. This year, Webb has won twelve rodeos including: Rodeo Houston, Washington State Fair Pro Rodeo, Cooks Rodeo Days, National Western Stock Show and Rodeo, Redding Rodeo, High Desert Stampede, among others. Rodeo has been a big part of Webb’s life since he was a baby, and it continues to be the fuel to his fire. At just twelve years old he competed at a junior roping event and made it to The American Rodeo at age fifteen.

Autograph Sessions with Team Durango® will take place in Durango®’s booth at the Stetson Country Christmas (located in the Rio), booth #325 & #425 and in the PRCA Merchandise booth in Cowboy Channel Cowboy Christmas (located in the Las Vegas Convention Center), booth #131.
