MARTHA ANGELONE

PROFESSIONAL BREAKAWAY ROPER

Born and raised in Virginia, Martha Angelone learned to rope from her father, Vito, alongside her sister, Sarah. Those early lessons laid the foundation for what would become a world-class Breakaway Roping Career. Known for her fierce focus and passion for the sport, Martha quickly established herself as a dominant force.

After moving to Texas, Martha balanced roping and colt training with bartending shifts until she could rope full-time. Her relentless work ethic paid off in 2022 when she made history as the first WPRA Breakaway Roper officially recognized on the world champion stage following the NFR's 10th round.

Martha now resides in Stephenville, Texas, where she continues to train, compete, and ride some of the sport's top horses, including her standout gelding, Spots Lil Legend.
